Kia ora, I’m Debbie Graham. A Paraparaumu artist specialising in portraiture. Known for my meticulous attention to detail and ability to render depth, my work transcends mere representation, immersing viewers in the lives of my subjects. From capturing family bonds to preserving cherished memories, I find joy in creating timeless pieces of art that resonate deeply with hearts and souls.
Debbie is a New Zealand artist – working from her studio (Bella Vista Studio) on the Kapiti Coast. She has successfully exhibited her artworks over the years in New Zealand and commissioned paintings for several private collections, which have been received favourably.
Debbie relies mostly on her observation and instinct when creating her artworks. These are mainly oil paintings on canvas or board.
Her passion lies predominantly with portraiture – she has a real love of studying faces and form and has an ability to capture both the likeness and the essence of her subjects. Debbie works from live sittings and from photographs and welcomes commission enquiries.
She has created realistic artworks over the years that manage to have a special connection with their viewers.
